October is here and we look forward to several exciting activities coming up in the Autumn. The first three of the GCUA 2030 courses have started and we are happy to see that there is a high interest to participate. There is still chance to enroll for the last one!
We also have the GCUA 2030 Award where PhD students and recently graduated can compete and practice their communications skills, a good knowledge for the future.
Last but not least, the upcoming newsletters will emphasise some our amazing partners, starting with Michigan State University, USA.
This award is a great opportunity for PhD students or recently graduated PhD students to communicate their research to a broad audience globally. Deadline is 20 November 2024.
"The SDGs need researchers to fill critical data gaps"
GCUA 2030 recently hosted a webinar on ‘Monitoring the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2024 SDG Report: An Overview’ with Daniel Eshetie from the United Nations Statistical Division. Daniel gave an interesting account of his role working with the Global SDG Indicator Framework to monitor progress towards Agenda 2030.
To learn more about all the amazing partners we have in GCUA 2030 we invite one or two universities to write in each newsletter. This time we can read a piece from Michigan State University, USA.
