Hopefully we all get the weather we desire and a few weeks of vacations, but before you go we hope to see you at the Summer Luncheon on Monday 17 June. In this issue we highlight the new position as Director of AI Integration at the Department of Business Administration, a new pod episode and a call for IVA's 100-list. We proudly announce that two of our alumns are hosting a summer show each on radio P1 (Sommarprat), namely Zećira Mušović from the women's national football team, and sports journalist Olof Lundh. Teachers are also reminded to apply for the STINT teaching sabbatical, and last but not least we congratulate our Professor in Economic History, Sylvia Schwaag Serger who just got appointed president of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA). Supervising theses, on Minds over Matters: The LUSEM PodAssociate Professors Anna Jonsson and Olof Hallonsten discuss the role of supervising Bachelor's and Master's theses bearing in mind both students and colleagues. New Position at the Department of Business Administration: Director of AI IntegrationThe Department of Business Administration has appointed Burak Tunca as the new Director of AI Integration. Burak Tunca, Senior Lecturer in Marketing at LUSEM, is set to lead the department's efforts in incorporating artificial intelligence into our academic framework. The research must be ready to be utilized in the foreseeable future, for example through industrial commercialisation, business and method development or social impact.
