Reflections on recent strategic discussions
In her recent blog post, Sandra Di Rocco reflects on two discussions shaping the school’s strategic direction. During a management retreat on October 16-17, department heads engaged in open and collaborative discussions about reexamining the school’s financial model. This first step aims to develop a fair, sustainable approach aligning resources with both departmental and school-wide priorities. On October 21, the so called School dialogue with KTH’s leadership highlighted SCI’s strengths in research, but also pinpointed funding challenges, particularly for theoretical research and projects needing specialized labs. Both sessions reflect a unified commitment to transparency and academic excellence at SCI.
