The first major change is the closure of Scheelevägen, where a new roundabout is being constructed at Beta 6. Scheelevägen will close in March and is expected to remain closed until the summer of 2026.

Andreas Bergh, Associate professor in economics explains that his research has found a small increase in accidents following the introduction of e-scooters, but that the effect decreases over time. He also points out that just counting e-scooter accidents in isolation is the wrong way to go about the issue.
