Digital Learning has seen an increase in its employee satisfaction
index, reaching 80 in the latest pulse survey — a ten-point rise from the
previous measurement. How come?

Faculty boards take over recruitment matters
From 1 January next year, the faculty boards at KTH's schools will be
responsible for managing the recruitment and promotion of teachers,
affiliations and the admission of docents. Read the full story
New payroll and self-reporting system
During the fall, KTH will get a new
payroll and self-reporting system. The new system will replace HR+ and the
current self-reporting system. HR, managers and employees will gradually
transition to the new system. More information will come.

Researchers wanted for total defence network
A collaboration to strengthen Sweden's total defence has been
initiated between KTH, the Swedish
Defence University and the Stockholm School of Economics. KTH is now looking for researchers who want to participate in a competence network.
KTH mentor
program offers you the chance to connect with an experienced alumnus. Together with a mentor you will design meetings that suit your needs and
interests. The program is aimed at students from their fifth undergraduate
semester and all graduate students. For

Innovation in courses, conferences or team meetings
Does your
research team or department want to improve your skills in innovation,
intellectual property management or impact? Are your students curious
about entrepreneurship? KTH Innovation has gathered inspiration for local workplace or team meetings (APT) or teaching.
Extra announcement of scholarships from the foundation AH Göransson and the Yngström Foundation. Eligible to apply are doctoral students with a basic degree in materials science and Swedish citizens.
The supplementary financing is to be used as an addition to the financing that you recieve from the external financier outside of KTH, to ensure that the doctoral student has a salary equivalent to the “doktorandstege”. Apply between 1 and 22 September
Travel
The scholarship is open for researchers, teachers, and doctoral students at KTH to be used for travel to conferences, congresses and presentation of scientific results. Apply between 1 and 25 September
Courses in research communication and presentation skills
Trees play a crucial role in a time of urgent need for a green transition. Forest-based materials have the potential not only to replace fossil products but also to drive innovation across most technological fields. This will be showcased in a new exhibition at KTH Library.
The exhibition will be inaugurated with a vernissage on September 19 from 16:00 to 17:00 in the Entrance Hall of KTH Library.
