26 September 2024There is cause for celebrationCongratulations to Marina Vorholzer and her supervisor Anna Brattberg for receiving the ‘Best conceptual paper’ award at the world's largest and foremost conference on management – the Academy of Management (AoM). Also, a news site is spreading articles without consent from the writers. Business Law researcher Johan Axhamn is quoted on the subject on national radio (P3 News). Ethical review online course
There is an online course provided by the Swedish Ethical Review Authority (only available in Swedish for the moment). The course is described as follows: As part of the government mandate to increase knowledge about the regulations for ethical review, the Swedish Ethical Review Authority has decided to design and create web courses as a tool to strengthen knowledge about the regulations for ethical review in an easily accessible way. LUSEM News Comment with Olof EjermoUp until the birth of the first child, the development in terms of citations and grants is quite similar for both male and female researchers. Olof Ejermo, professor of economic history, notes that after this point, a difference begins to emerge, as female researchers in particular often experience a slowdown in their career progression compared to their male colleagues.
