Reaching out to all advisors in beekeeping – looking back on Madrid 2024
The summer and autumn have gone by and a
new year is coming up. Hopefully you had a wonderful beekeeping season and that the bees are tucked away for their winter rest.
During 13 and 14 of June in Madrid we had intense days with many new connections, knowledge
sharing of beekeeping practices and challenging exercises on the theme of
communication and outreach. The network of beekeeping advisors on international
level was created.
Thanks to Arancha, Jesus and the whole team of students at
UCM and the Veterinary faculty for making this practical training possible and
successful. And thank you, all advisors, for contributing to these first step
towards a certified training of trainers in beekeeping. More will come during
2025 and 2026.
