Jamboree26 is fast approaching, and we have gathered important updates to help your troop prepare. In this newsletter, you will find key information about logistics, food, safety, programme activities, and practical arrangements ahead of camp.

| | | | | | | | Update your group responses | | | | We encourage all groups to log in and update your travel information in your registration as soon as possible. Please update your bus arrival time and how many cars you plan to park during the week. To update your group’s responses: - Make sure you are logged in at https://scoutnet.se/
- Go to: https://scoutnet.se/activities/view/52710
- Click on your group name in the middle of the screen (the text itself).
- Edit your answers under the “group questions” tab.
If you receive a message saying that registration is closed, that is correct—but the group questions can still be edited. | | | Renting gas cylindersGas limits depend on village size, and orders must be placed in advance. Orders for renting gas cylinders must be made no later than June 21. Refills can be booked for the duration of the camp in the supplier's timeslots." If you are sharing a village with a Swedish twin group, we recommend coordinating your plans with them. | | | | | | | | Protecting the Large Blue Butterfly – delay in Camp Map publication
| | | | To protect the endangered butterfly species Phengaris arion (large blue) in Norra Åsum, we need to adjust the camp map and avoid certain parts of the field. Following a recent decision by the County Administrative Board, maps and information about village placements will unfortunately be slightly delayed a little longer. We understand that group planning for tents and equipment is often based on the village dimensions, and that this makes preparations more difficult. We will send out the map and village placements as soon as they are ready. | | | Card, Swish, Apple- and Google pay, and Pressbyrån gift cards are the main payment options. Cash is accepted only at a few locations. On our website you can read more about the gift cards. | | | The menu is published!
We have updated our website with more information regarding storing your food during the week, the menu and food distribution. | | | | | A packing list has been compiled based on current information to help
your group prepare for camp. Make sure to review it and adjust based on
your needs.
| | | Listening Ears will be available at the camp to provide a safe space for
conversations. Both scouts and leaders can seek support on anything, big or
small. | | | Safety distances Clear safety distances between tents, kitchens, and equipment must be maintained. These rules help prevent fire spread and ensure safe evacuation. | | Safety when charging mobile phonesCharge devices responsibly and under supervision to avoid overheating. Larger batteries must be stored safely to reduce fire risk. | | | | | | Take the opportunity to explore Kristianstad and its surroundings. The website offers tips for activities, nature, and local attractions. | | | | Visitors are welcome to the camp area during the daytime between 10:00 and 18:00 from July 26 to July 31. | | | | Group Packing on Trailers
On Friday, July 24, you will arrive with your equipment. We ask you not to arrive in large numbers that day, as the camp area is still under construction. On our website, you will find a map showing where cars with trailers are allowed to enter the field at designated times.
| | | | | Leave drones (UAS) at home
| Drones are not allowed for participants due to safety reasons. The camp organization will handle all approved drone operations.
| | | | | | Programme Sessions in Central Kristianstad
| | | | All participants will attend a programme session in Kristianstad during the week. Transport, lunch, and timing will be organized for each group. | | | Participants are encouraged to use environmentally friendly products. This supports the camp’s sustainability goals. | | | | | | Get excited for Jamboree26!To start getting excited already now, you can practise the camp song Together is the real thing with its accompanying dance.
