Welcome to an afternoon in honour of Torkel Wallmark. Wallmark became Professor in Innovation Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology in 1983, the first in Sweden. His unique contribution to the university by creating and developing innovation operations has led to the highly successful profile area entrepreneurship at Chalmers. 

In true Torkel Wallmark spirit we want to focus this afternoon on entrepreneurship in a rapidly changing world. How can we possible keep up with everything happening around us? How has entrepreneurship changed since Wallmark started his journey at Chalmers? Is it easier or more difficult now?

We are happy to welcome the three speakers Caroline Farberger, Robert Falck and Andreas Flodström who really know how it is to work and move around in a rapidly changing world. 

Caroline Farberger, Partner and Chairwoman at Wellstreet who went from one perspective to another. Her experience has led to insights on the importance of having a diversity and inclusion agenda in your company. How can you prioritise the agenda early on in the growth journey and embed it in the company’s culture and DNA. 

Robert Falck, CEO and founder of Einride, a Swedish technology company that develops and provides freight mobility solutions based on electric and autonomous vehicles, leading the transition to sustainable transport.

Andreas Flodström is co-founder and CEO of Beetroot, a Swedish-Ukrainian IT consultancy company. Over the past ten years they have created a successful ecosystem, which rapidly and sustainably grew to more than 600 people across 10+ locations in three countries. They have managed to build an organisation based on high trust and equality – But what happens in an organisation when your employees in Ukraine suddenly are in a war zone? How do you as founder and CEO handle both your business and the people working for you?

Robert Falck is the CEO and founder of Einride, a Swedish technology company that develops and provides freight mobility solutions based on electric and autonomous vehicles, leading the transition to sustainable transport. A serial entrepreneur, he has founded and co-founded several businesses, and worked his way up from the factory floor of major OEMs before starting Einride in 2016. Mr. Falck holds a B.Sc and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, a B.Sc. in Economics and Finance, and a B.Sc. in Business Administration.
