What a great start to 2024 we have had! We were overwhelmed by the interest in submitting sessions proposals to SETAC Europe’s 26th LCA symposium – receiving over 60 proposals. The programme committee did a good job of finalizing the preliminary sessions for the conference. Abstract submissions are now open. Submit your abstract to showcase your work, share insights and engage in meaningful discussions centered around life cycle assessment (LCA). Join us in Gothenburg in October this year for an inclusive scientific program with presentations, discussions, workshops, and social interactions, promoting networking and collaboration with the focus on enhancing the entire process of life cycle assessment to bring about positive changes.
We're delighted to welcome Tetra Pak as the newest addition to the Swedish Life Cycle Center! Additionally, the Center also has welcomed a new colleague, Sophia Kristensson, in the Technical Secretariat. Sophia will work as a communication partner, developing our communications further. We're very glad to have her onboard!
Sincerely,
Maria Rydberg Director, Technical Secretariat Swedish Life Cycle Center

Collaboration opportunitiesSwedish Life Cycle Center plays an important role for all its actors within the Center to build networks, competence and influence future development. How the partnership is used is up to the partner. Partners value the direct contact to the network, research and high level discussions. Others are engaged in working groups that go in line with their organization’s agenda. And for some organizations, Swedish Life Cycle Center has been and is a key to their continuous work with life cycle related improvements and capacity building. The Center hosts a dialogue group with nine government agencies in Sweden, engages small and medium-sized companies through a letter of collaboration and enters into collaborative partnerships with other life cycle organizations at a global level. |
