25 January 2024Welcome back to LUSEM for the spring term of 2024. New year, new term, and new leadership team... what else is new? First and foremost our LUSEM team placed third in the Molson Case Competition, congratulations! Also, the school has completed our EQUIS report and there has been a cyber attack on primula, but we are getting paid on time. | Comments from colleaguesMargareta Dackehag on EQUIS: Last week, the Management Team submitted the School’s Self-Assessment Report to EQUIS.The process of putting it together was intense but thanks to good teamwork with faculty, staff and management the report was finalized and successfully delivered on time. Another important report, delivered to EQUIS last week, was the Student Report, giving a student perspective on LUSEM. The report was compiled by a group from LundaEkonomerna, together with some other students representing Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD levels. Thank you for your contribution!
Daniel Eriksson on The web from Pimcore to Drupal: We are convinced that the migration, planned for February 13 will be the starting point for a continued strong web presence - in a new secure system. The change to the university-wide Drupal web publishing system will entail an important future-proofing of our websites while also marking a change. We will be housed under the same web umbrella while retaining our own web pages, surfaces, and main domain addresses and directing visitors to the right area on the new site.
Ulrika Qvist Mathiesen on Winterschool: Last Friday, 24 students from our partner universities around the world completed the first week of the Winter School in collaboration with Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki, Finland. They studied the course “The Darkness of Business” and enjoyed Swedish culture and the typical student life in Lund. This week, is spent in Helsinki, where the group learns more about “Sustainable Finance” and get a taste of what it's like to be a student in the Finnish capital.
