Researching and navigating South Asia in the times of Covid-19 is something that is discussed in our new issue of Chakra - Nordic Journal of South Asian Studies. After a careful selection process, we have now published the 14 best articles as a special issue of our SASNET journal Chakra, titled "Articulations of a Pandemic - Researching and Navigating South Asia in the Times of Covid-19". Read the issue here. | | | Watch the SASNET online event for Sheikh Mujib's 100th anniversaryOn 03 December 2020, SASNET hosted an online conversation with Bengali-Swedish writer Anisur Rahman and his co-translator Kristian Carlsson on the occasion of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's 100th anniversary, post-colonial leader and the founder of Bangladesh. The speakers also presented Anisur Rahman's book Jag är Sheikh Mujib. Rahman's epic monologue depicts the twentieth century freedom struggle on the Indian subcontinent through the voice of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Watch the panel on the SASNET YouTube channel.
