Summer is fast approaching, and we at the Swedish Life Cycle
Center Technical Secretariat would like to wish you all a happy summer! It
has been an eventful semester with many activities and a lot of
learning, networking, and new ideas for projects and working groups. We
have welcomed new authorities to the collaboration (Statistics Sweden,
Statistiska Centralbyrån, and The Swedish Forest Agency,
Skogsstyrelsen), developed training materials, prepared for the SETAC
Europe 26th LCA Symposium, and much more. Now we look forward to a few
weeks with a different focus, whether it's swimming in the sea, walking
in the forest, or spending time in the shade and reading a book. In any
case, we are recharging our batteries and getting ready for the fall
semester and the SETAC Europe 26th LCA Symposium!
Sincerely,
Maria Rydberg Director, Technical Secretariat Swedish Life Cycle Center

it will open for all. There is still a chance to become a sponsor to the
conference or arrange a side- event, contact lifecyclecenter@chalmers.se if you want to know more!

Training material soon to be released
During winter and spring, we

thinking on a basic level. After summer we will release the material that will
be available for all since it has been developed as part of the Innovation
cluster for the life cycle perspective.

| | | Collaboration opportunitiesSwedish Life Cycle Center plays an important role for all its actors within the Center to build networks, competence and influence future development. How the partnership is used is up to the partner. Partners value the direct contact to the network, research and high level discussions. Others are engaged in working groups that go in line with their organization’s agenda. And for some organizations, Swedish Life Cycle Center has been and is a key to their continuous work with life cycle related improvements and capacity building. The Center hosts a dialogue group with nine government agencies in Sweden, engages small and medium-sized companies through a letter of collaboration and enters into collaborative partnerships with other life cycle organizations at a global level. |
