A moment with our Director Kristina Edström
Battery 2030+ is now increasing the effort with more projects coming on board into the collaboration. We are strengthening our focus on sustainability and the need for common protocols and data sharing.
We would also like to wish you some very recharging time off, during the holidays.
Co-organising BID with the European Batteries R&I community was a great success. 1400 attendees (online and onsite) 60 speakers and moderators, and 25 exhibitors. Battery 2030+ had three projects, Bat4Ever, Hidden, and Healing Bat presenting and many experts within our network contributed to panels and as moderators. BID fosters dialogue among the research community, policy makers, industry players, and end-users to ensure a constructive feedback loop towards the definition of research and innovation priorities in Europe.
Highlights from our BIG-MAP project!
The 6th BIG-MAP bi-annual project meeting took place in Brussels 24th – 25th October 2023, organised by EMIRI at Solvay. Around 100 attendees, a poster session, updates on the 12 Key Demonstrators, and training on BIG-MAP apps! Six BIG-MAP awards were given to PhD and post-doctoral researchers to celebrate and recognise their collaboration and teamwork across WPs and BATTERY 2030+ projects. Congratulations to all winners!
Battery 2030+ celebrating five years and planning for new upcoming projects
It is now five years since Battery 2030+ started, something Rui Durão policy officer for science and technology at DG RTD, mentioned in his speech at Battery 2030+ kick-off for the next phase (CSA3).
Battery 2030+ is a hub of several projects implementing the Battery 2030+ Roadmap on our journey into the future. Read more about our objectives and get introduced to our work package leaders.
Battery 2030+ Course on Innovation and Entrepreneurship
During fall Uppsala
University’s Innovation Partnership Office together with Battery 2030+ have
held a course for young researchers in innovation and entrepreneurship. The
course gave examples of tools that can be used to identify how research can
generate impact and commercial potential.
If you missed any of our fantastic seminars, do not fret! We have recorded them and you can watch them on our website. Click the button below and watch them all!
The
SENSIBAT project held its second Advisory Board workshop on the 5th
of October, at the facilities of partner Flanders Make in Lommel, Belgium.
During this interesting workshop with many presentations from both project
partners and external speakers, Sensibat invited young researcher Xia Zeng from
the sister project SPARTACUS to present. The presentation gave great insight into the battery dynamics of the Spartacus sensor. Thanks to the Battery2030+
initiative for the encouraging collaborations and having a special focus on young researchers within the initiative.
