We reflect on a remarkable autumn featuring two interesting Life Cycle Talks, participation at the LCM 2023 conference in Lille, France, an occasion of the two-day course in Applied Life Cycle Thinking and a well-attended webinar discussing the Environmental Footprint project in the Swedish industry, which aimed to enhance understanding and implementation. We have welcomed Luleå University of Technology as a new partner in Swedish Life Cycle Center and we are thrilled to introduce Yulia Liu as a new addition to the Technical Secretariat team. Yulia will be working alongside Anna and Maria, managing various projects and activities within the Center. A warm welcome to both Luleå Technical University and to Yulia! With just one year remaining until the SETAC Europe 26th LCA symposium takes place in Gothenburg, we've opened a call for session proposals. We are preparing for an exciting conference experience next autumn and eagerly anticipate your session proposals, due by January 23, 2024. More details on this can be found below. Sincerely,
Anna, Yulia and Maria

How the partnership is used is up to the partner. Partners value the direct contact to the network, research and high level discussions. Others are engaged in working groups that go in line with their organization’s agenda. And for some organizations, Swedish Life Cycle Center has been and is a key to their continuous work with life cycle related improvements and capacity building. The Center hosts a dialogue group with nine government agencies in Sweden, engages small and medium-sized companies through a letter of collaboration and enters into collaborative partnerships with other life cycle organizations at a global level. |
