| | | | | Webinars on InfraVis Call 2024
InfraVis
was launched as a national research infrastructure for visualization in
2022. Despite us not being well-known, we have received an almost
overwhelming amount of inquiries since then. Therefore, this year we
have introduced a new format for the InfraVis Call for Applications to
be able to administer the incoming projects and get an overview of what
level of support that is needed. First of all, we offered an introductory webinar at three occasions in May. Over 30 participants joined us for a walk-through of the application process and a Q&A session.
| | | | | InfraVis Days at Umeå UniversityInfraVis Days is an event held twice per year at one of the universities, the nodes of InfraVis.
18th-20th
March it was Umeå University's turn to host the InfraVis community. Our excellent hosts at Humlab arranged workshops and invited users to present their projects and experience with InfraVis. The
days were filled with inspiring talks, engaging workshops and team
building activities, and yet there was still energy to enjoy the amazing
guided tours at Bildmuseet and Curiosum. What was new this time was the so called User forum, where we invited InfraVis users of all levels to present their project. This turned out to be a very fruitful arrangement, and we will continue with the User forum.
Next InfraVis days will be held at Lund University 5th-7th November this year.
| Operations and ReportsWhat has InfraVis been up to since we started? In our Annual Report for 2023 you can find an overview of our projects and performance. In our Strategic and Operational Plan 2024-2026 you will find out how we are intending to proceed with our work.
Both reports are available for download on our website.
| | | | What are your visualization needs?
| Being a national research infrastructure,
InfraVis is helping researchers to
visualize research data from any scientific domain all around Sweden. In order to better understand the needs of the scientific community, we would like to invite you to fill in the InfraVis survey on researchers’ visualization needs. The survey takes only five minutes of your time and it will ensure stronger visualization support for all researchers in Sweden. Thank you in advance for your support. | | | | Meet the InfraVis Application Experts | Claudio Linhares, Linnaeus UniversityExpert in Graph Visualization
Being a Senior Lecturer with numerous high-quality publications in prestigious journals,
