General restrictions apply across the site regarding digging and the placement of objects into the ground, such as poles and tent pegs.

Digging deeper than 40 cm is not permitted beneath trees, including underneath their canopies. No digging or insertion of pegs is allowed within one metre of any stone wall, measured from its centre line. In addition, a general maximum digging depth of one metre applies throughout the entire campsite.

Large parts of the site were surveyed for metal objects during the spring. Any objects that were detected have been excavated and removed. As a result, you may encounter some minor unevenness in the ground, which you may wish to level out to make your sleeping area more comfortable.

Travel to Camp and Check-in

Once your travel details have been correctly entered in Scoutnet, you can find information on how to get to the campsite by train, private car or bus, as well as guidance on transporting scout group equipment in a trailer.

Shortly before arriving at camp, the scout group will receive a link for pre-check-in. There, the leader can confirm who is attending and ensure that all information is correct.

As soon as you arrive at the campsite, it is time to check in. This is done by having one leader go to the information desk at the Heart and check in all leaders and participants. The leader will then receive the scout group’s bag containing badges, wristbands and information.

The information desk opens at 08:30.

Once You Have Arrived at Camp

Once you have found your way to your village, it is time to settle in. Each village may collect pioneering poles from the designated collection areas, corresponding to one pole per participant in the village. Please only take what you need and collect the poles in several trips.

The food distribution tent is located near to the camp's central area, the Heart. On the arrival day, 25 July, it opens at 08:00 and remains open throughout the day. On this day, villages may collect their food whenever it is most convenient for them. This is a drop-in system, unlike the rest of the camp week, when food collection is scheduled in designated time slots.

We encourage all villages to collect at the food distribution tent as soon as possible after arrival. If you arrive with a trailer the evening before, it is a good idea to collect your food first thing in the morning when food distribution opens.

Village volunteers

Each scout group is responsible for setting its own rules regarding whether and how participants may use mobile phones.

Programme activities are designed so that participants do not need a phone. However, it is worth noting that network coverage at camp may be limited. Phone charging will be available in the hubs, subject to available capacity.

During the visit to Kristianstad, the scout group must be able to stay in contact with all of its patrols. An Explorer Scout patrol (ages 15-18) travelling without a leader should therefore bring a mobile phone with them.

Scouterna’s zero tolerance policy on alcohol and narcotics

The Guides and Scouts of Sweden enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding alcohol and recreational drugs. This policy applies 24/7 throughout the entire jamboree period for everyone, including all free time ("off duty"). It applies to locations within as well as outside of the camp, such as the camp staff village, each scout group’s village, and the city of Kristianstad. From when you arrive, to when you depart the jamboree for the last time, you are subject to this policy.  

The policy does not include tobacco or nicotine, with products like vapes, cigarettes or nicotine pouches (“snus”). However, the use of tobacco or nicotine products must be done discreetly. Smoking of any kind is only allowed outside camp perimeters. 

The consumption, possession, or bringing of alcohol or drugs to the event or surrounding areas is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate disciplinary action and subsequent expulsion from Jamboree26.
