Sweden is booming in solar panel installations. But without a recycling plan we face the prospect of being buried under a mountain of old panels.
“A product meant to lead us towards a more sustainable future is now at risk of becoming a significant environmental issue,” says Beatriz Pérez Horno, researcher at INDEK who will explore circular strategies through the CircSolar project.
Stefan Ränk, CEO of Einar Mattsson, has been awarded the KTH prize for industrial collaboration. Stefan Ränk has initiated a historic initiative by making the KTH Live-In Lab possible. The recipient may direct half a million SEK of KTH's funds to a research project and Stefan has chosen to focus on how AI can improve maintenance planning in existing buildings.

Mandatory education about Canvas for new employees
For those employed from 16 March this year, it will be mandatory to take a digital education about Canvas starting this autumn semester. The education teaches how material should be designed digitally to be pedagogical, equal and accessible to all students.
