KTH's main building wins the Guldstolen architecture award for the best interior of the year! The prize is awarded by Architects Sweden. The brick building on Valhallavägen is over 100 years old, making it the oldest on campus.
The jury emphasises that the renovation has been done with care for the cultural-historical environment and resulted in flexible learning environments.

KTH's website has undergone several design changes, in the wake of the updated graphic profile. The new look mainly focuses on colours and fonts, a new page header and a personal menu. The external website, the Student web and KTH Intranet have different colour themes.
Applications to KTH's programmes and courses have increased by 16.7 per cent which is the largest growth among Swedish universities. For MSc programmes we have the highest figures since 2005. Freestanding courses had 59 per cent more applicants than HT23.

Antonio Maffei keynote on business models
Production Engineering's Antonio Maffei was one of the keynote speakers at the II International scientific-practical conference “The Paradigm of sustainable economic development in the context of global change”. The event took place on 8 April at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
KTH is part of a multi-billion project to enhance semiconductor production in Sweden. The focus is on creating energy-efficient high-voltage transistors for applications like electric vehicle charging. The project will see the first components produced at KTH's Electrum Laboratory within six months.
KTH's education will be developed and renewed, based on six fundamental criteria. The educational offerings will also reflect the vision of KTH taking a leadership role in the transition to a sustainable society.
